<h2>Meet Ezri S., Deaf and Hard of Hearing Itinerant</h2><p>At Cross Country Education, we’re honored to work with the best of the best from across the nation who are dedicated to improving kids' lives every day! We take great pride in their shared passion for helping students succeed, and we love passing along their insight to inspire others interested in this rewarding field. This time, we’re spotlighting one of our outstanding deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) teacher, Ezri.</p><p>Here’s why Ezri decided to become a DHH Itinerant and what she enjoys most about working with the Cross Country Education team and schools, and what advice she has for others just embarking on their careers.</p><h3>Why did you become a DHH provider?</h3><p>I became a DHH teacher to support deaf and hard of hearing students in the mainstream setting and help them achieve their greatest potential. I also became a provider to advocate for the needs of students with hearing loss as well as to educate others on how to support DHH students. My heart is always full when working with DHH students and seeing them succeed never makes it feel like a job.</p><h3>What do you like about Cross Country Education?</h3><p>What I like about working for CCE is the flexibility and support they offer to special education providers. They truly show they value their employee's time and ALL their hard work. They are always just an email/phone call away!</p><h3>What have you liked about your experience working at CCE schools?</h3><p>What I have liked about working with CCE schools is the collaboration that happens constantly with different professionals. I am continuously learning so much from everyone on the team. The schools also show that they truly value you and your expertise in your field.</p><h3>What kind of advice would you give to someone starting out in your field?</h3><p>The advice that I would give to a new DHH teacher is that it is okay if you feel like you don't know everything right off the bat!
