Thank you for helping our students thrive – especially during these challenging times!</p><h2>About Teacher Appreciation Week</h2><p>The National PTA started Teacher Appreciation Week in 1984. It’s a time to honor teachers for all they do to support students in their learning and development. Teachers need to hear how much their dedication means to students, parents and the community, and Teacher Appreciation Week is the perfect time to let them know.</p><h2>How to Thank a Teacher During Teacher Appreciation Week</h2><p>If you’re looking for ways to thank the teachers in your life, The National PTA has extensive resources at <a href="https://www.pta.org/home/events/PTA-Teacher-Appreciation-Week" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">pta.org</a>, from cards to social media posts.
