It’s National CRNA Week, and we are grateful for the more than 61,000 CRNAs in the U.S. who keep patients comfortable, safe and healthy.

<strong>We love our CRNAs</strong> (we have the honor and pleasure of working with many of these outstanding 
providers), and we’re thrilled to celebrate all of 
the CRNAs across the country during <strong>National CRNA Week, January 21-27, 2024.</strong> 
</p>
<p>National CRNA Week was established in 2000 by the American Association of Nurse 
  Anesthesiology (<a href="https://www.aana.com/" target="_blank">AANA</a>). It provides an opportunity to acknowledge the critical work 
  these clinicians do and thank them for keeping patients across our nation safe, 
  comfortable and healthy! 
</p>

<h2>About CRNAs</h2>
<p>CRNA Week also gives us a chance to pass along some stats from <a href="https://www.aana.com/about-us/about-crnas/" target="_blank">AANA </a> 
nurse anesthetists and their important work:
</p>

  <li> CRNAs help make surgeries pain-free and provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.</li>
  <li> There are now more than 61,000 CRNAs practicing in the United States.</li>
  <li> CRNAs administer over 50 million anesthetics to U.S. patients every year.</li>
  <li> Nurse anesthetists/nurse anesthesiologists have been providing anesthesia to patients in the U.S. for over 150 years.</li>
  <li> Nurse anesthetists graduate their programs with an average of 9,369 hours of clinical experience.</li>
  <li> More than 80% of the anesthesia providers in rural U.S. counties are CRNAs.</li>
  <li> CRNAs work in nearly every practice setting, including hospitals, delivery rooms, ambulatory surgery centers, dentist offices, government healthcare facilities and much more. </li>
</ul>
