 Congress officially designated August 26th
 as Women’s Equality Day in 1971. But do you know the true meaning behind this
 day of observance? Women’s Equality Day isn’t just about equality in the
 workforce. That’s a big part of it, sure, but it’s rooted in the
 acknowledgment and celebration of women in every state and every cultural and
 religious group having the right to vote. Definitely if not for this grand
 accomplishment, we would not see the diversity and inclusion of women we do in
 the workplace today. And while women have certainly come so far in this
 country in so many different areas and ways, they unarguably have a long way
 to go.


 We at Cross Country Healthcare are beyond proud of our continued efforts to
 support and embrace that philosophy of diversity and inclusion. Of our nearly
 2,300 corporate employees, more than three-quarters are women. Our executive
 and clinical leadership teams are comprised of just over 60% women, and in
 2021, 117 of our 160 promotions were to women. We continually seek new and
 innovative ways to make our workplace culture more inclusive and supportive of
 women and their individual achievement goals, both on the job and off.
