Negotiating may sound intimidating, but it’s a breeze when you’re prepared. These tips can help!<ol><li>Do your research. Turn to professional organizations like the American Speech-Language Hearing Association to find out how much SLPs are currently earning.</li></ol><ul><li style="text-indent: 1em;">TIP: Check out ASHA’s <a href="https://www.asha.org/siteassets/surveys/2021-slp-hc-survey-annual-salaries.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Annual SLP Salary Report</a> and their School Survey on <a href="https://www.asha.org/siteassets/surveys/2020-schools-slp-salaries.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">SLP Salary and Annual Wages</a>.
